Family owned and operated, we specialise in the transportation of general freight predominately around the North Canterbury District. Our extensive, well maintained fleet allow us to cater for all your freight and transport requirements. Bruce and Jenny Romeril purchased the company in September 2019, and with over 35 years of experience in the trucking industry & a sound business background, we are more than capable of getting your freight where you need it, when you need it.

In September 2019, Bruce and Jenny took the helm of Combined Freightlines, acquiring the company with a vision to build something new. With a fresh perspective and a commitment to innovation, they rebranded the business, unveiling a modern logo and expanding to a new location. Their focus on modernization has allowed Combined Freightlines to enhance its services, ensuring a more efficient and customer-centric approach to freight transportation.2021
In 2021, we acquired Wentworth Carrying, further expanding our fleet and strengthening our contract capabilities. This strategic move allowed us to offer even more diverse freight solutions while enhancing our operational capacity, helping us better serve our growing customer base.2023
In 2023, we invested in three new trucks to replace our ageing fleet, ensuring greater reliability, fuel efficiency, and improved service for our customers. This upgrade reinforces our commitment to maintaining a modern, high-performance fleet that meets the evolving needs of the freight industry.2024
In 2024, we expanded our fleet with the addition of a Hiab and flat deck trailer, further enhancing our ability to handle specialized lifting and transportation needs. This new equipment allows us to offer greater flexibility and efficiency, providing our customers with even more comprehensive freight solutions.

What we carry
We specialise in palletised goods, stock feed & seed, plants, misc farm equipment, dangerous goods, wool, building supplies etc. Essentially anything that can fit in our trucks. We also carry smaller items in our vans and now offer a hiab service. However we are a door-to-door service and do not position or install furniture/appliances.
